　　a series of 一系列, 许多

　　in series 连续, 逐次按顺序排列的作为丛书的

　　in series with 与... 串联, 与... 相连

　　2.statistics n. 统计学, 统计表

　　解析：collect (take) statistics 进行统计

　　3.status n.身份, 地位, 情形, 状况

　　解析：the status of a minor 未成年人的地位

　　the status of affairs 事态, 形势
