Trunnion valve ball

Trunnion valve ball as its name suggested, that it is used in trunnion mounted ball valve. It is used to cut off or connect the media in various pipelines of Class 150 &ndash Class 2500, size up to 48 inches in Oak production line. The ball made of different materials are suitable for various media such as water, steam, oil, gas, coal, nitric acid, oxidizer, urea and etc. comparing with floating ball, trunnion ball work in medium and high pressure. It adopts the trunnion ball structure, floating seat retainer and bearing on lower or upper stem, so as to achieve lower torque under operating pressure.

trunnion valve ball applies in a variety of ball valve types, such as trunnion ball valve, extension stem ball valve, fully welded ball valve, top entry ball valve, metal seated ball valve, orbit ball valve, 3-way / 4-way ball valve, T pattern / Y pattern ball valve etc.

Due to the harsh environment in which trunnion ball valve works the forged foundry is commonly used due to higher quality and performance under pressure instead of the casted foundry. Due to complex in design, trunnion valve ball has a higher requirement in manufacturing and workmanship.
